Ten drown as tourist van falls into River Neelum in Azad Kashmir

MUZAFFARABAD – Two Bodies Recovered as Tourist Jeep Plunges into Neelum River in Azad Jammu and Kashmir”

Rescue teams have recovered two bodies from the 10 people who went missing after a jeep carrying tourists fell into the Neelum River in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Police reported that the tourists were returning from Taobat village when the jeep, carrying 14 passengers including the driver, plunged into the river near the Phalawai village of Sharda.

According to authorities, 10 people drowned due to the river’s strong current, while four others, who sustained injuries, were taken to a hospital for treatment. Officials confirmed that two bodies have been recovered, but the chances of survival for the remaining eight individuals are slim. Nevertheless, a search operation is ongoing to locate their bodies.
