The federal government has announced 5 public holidays on Eid-ul-Fitr, private and public institutions across the country will be closed from April 21 to 25 during the Eid holidays. According to Dunya News, the federal government has approved 5 public holidays on Eid-ul-Fitr. Eid holidays will be held from Friday, April 21 to Tuesday, April 25. According to ARY News, the national airline PIA has announced a 10% reduction in fares on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, under which the passengers traveling within the country will be able to benefit from the discount scheme to increase the happiness of the passengers. Spokesman PIA says that the reduction in fares of PIA has been announced for 2 days of Eid.

Passengers traveling domestically can avail the discount scheme till April 22 and 23.

Similarly, Pakistan Railways has announced to run 5 special trains on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. According to the spokesperson of Pakistan Railways, these special trains will be run from April 18, 2023 for the passengers going to their native areas to celebrate Eid. The spokesperson of Pakistan Railways has said that the first Eid special train will be run from Karachi to Peshawar on April 18, while the second train will also run from Quetta to Rawalpindi on the same day.
