More than 50% of flour mills have been closed due to the suspension of wheat delivery in Karachi. Flour mills will be closed. According to the details, the Pakistan Flour Mills Association has given a 48-hour ultimatum to the Sindh government to end the undeclared ban on the delivery of wheat to Karachi.

The ultimatum of the Pakistan Flour Mills Association to end the undeclared ban on the delivery of wheat to Karachi was given in an emergency meeting under the chairmanship of Chaudhry Amir, Chairman of the Association Sindh Region on Tuesday evening. Strict action plan will be announced after 48 hours if the ban on wheat delivery from inside Sindh is not lifted for flour mills.

Chaudhry Amir said that more than 50% of the flour mills in Karachi have been closed due to the stoppage of wheat delivery, while all other flour mills in Karachi will be closed in the next few days. There is no wheat production in Karachi. From the private sector, wheat is obtained to produce flour and other products, so the government should immediately allow the free transportation of wheat from within Sindh. He said that 100 kg of wheat in Sindh is 10400 rupees while in Karachi the same wheat is being sold for 11800 rupees. This difference in the prices of wheat in the province has become a cause of corruption. A danger has arisen.
