Sharjah announced rules for food and drinkers during the holy month. According to Khaleej Times, authorities in Sharjah have announced permits and guidelines for food and drink items during the holy month of Ramadan.
For daytime working foods:
• No customer is allowed inside the dining hall.
• Food preparation and cooking is allowed only inside the kitchen.
For display of food in front of the premises:
• Eaters can display food on the sidewalk in front of their premises.
Food must be displayed in a closed glass box with a sliding or hinged door (at least 100 cm high).
Snacks should be kept in stainless steel containers.
Food should be covered with alluminum foil or plastic wrap.
• Eaters should maintain snacks at appropriate temperatures.
