PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif declared on Sunday that the public would never forgive those responsible for damaging the country’s progress. During a meeting attended by PM Shehbaz Sharif and other PML-N leaders via video link, Nawaz Sharif discussed the contrast between negotiations for the nation’s betterment and the fight to protect vested interests and undermine the country and its institutions. He emphasized that no one is willing to vouch for those who have caused harm over the past three years.
The meeting focused on discussing the nation’s economic and political affairs, as well as party matters. Nawaz Sharif stressed the need for the PML-N-led federal government to implement immediate measures to curb soaring inflation and establish policies that provide relief to the public before elections. He called on all political parties to contribute to the country’s development.
The former Prime Minister lamented that his party’s hard work in driving the nation towards progress had been undone by enemies within just three years. He reiterated that the public would not forgive them and urged people to protect themselves from such individuals.
PM Shehbaz Sharif announced that the government would soon reveal good news for the populace in the form of a relief package aimed at easing their troubles. He also mentioned that the PML-N would decide on holding elections in the country on a single day after consulting with allies, adding that they have been striving to steer the nation towards development for the past year.
