In a shooting on Monday at the Covenant School, a private Christian primary school in Nashville, Tennessee, three 9-year-old children and three adults were killed, according to authorities.
Two of the victims were employees of the school. According to the school, one of them served as the principal and the other as a custodian.
Authorities reported that the shooter, a 28-year-old Nashville resident who was formerly a student at the institution, was killed in a shootout with police.
According to investigators, the gunman had made precise drawings of the school that included the locations of the building’s entrances. Authorities have also found the shooter’s writings, which they are currently examining.
