A man in the US state of Mississippi lost more than 365 pounds (about 165 kg) in four years. He lost the weight after the doctor’s remarks that “he is a ‘ticking time bomb’ and won’t live long”. His weight was around 300 kg and he has lost a lot of weight.
Nicholas Croft started his weight loss journey in 2019 when he managed to lose around 18 kg in the first month through dieting. Speaking to Fox News Digital, Nichols, 42, said he had struggled with his weight since childhood and weighed ‘300 pounds (136 kg) in high school.’
Nicholas Croft said, “Depression led me to overeat. My condition caused body aches, knee pains, and shortness of breath. While I could not travel in normal vehicles, I lost weight. Because of this, I stopped going to family functions and traveling.”
According to Nichols, doctors called him a “ticking time bomb” and said he had three to five years to live. He wanted to live longer and chose to change his eating habits. Mr. Kraft did not go on a special weight-loss diet, but instead focused on his calorie intake and gave up junk food. ‘When I first started, my calorie intake was 1,200 to 1,500 calories per day’.
