Former Prime Minister and senior leader of Muslim League-N Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said in a statement that Nawaz Sharif’s opinion should be respected but reference should not be filed against judges. Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the Chief Justice has damaged the reputation of the institution by not listening to the matter of forming a full bench, but filing a reference against the judges of the Supreme Court will create division in the judiciary. He said that it was necessary for the Chief Justice to save the reputation of his institution, he did not save the reputation of the institution and the decision became controversial.

They have rewritten the constitution. Minister of Defence, Minister of Interior, Chief Election Commissioner and Parliament should be made, why is the full court not made? Why insist on three judges?
